Now that the election in Minnesota is over, a new crop of recently elected candidates are showing up to the Capitol preparing for their 2021 agendas. Rep-Elect John Thompson, who infamously called for burning down Hugo, is one of them. But GOP consultants were quick to cut a deal with him fearing the cornerstone of his agenda.
Back in the summer, Thompson took his gang of kind, COVID immune, peaceful protestors to a quiet neighborhood in Hugo, MN to protest Minneapolis police union chief, Bob Kroll. While shouting into the microphone, Thompson called for Hugo and other cities to burn down, cementing this as his top priority once elected. St Paul voters delivered an overwhelming victory for him last Tuesday.
Thompson arrived at the Capitol for last Friday’s caucus meeting with a map of cities he intended to burn down. But GOP consultants who had recent victories in cutting a deal with Democrats to raise the sick tax in Minnesota, were able to cut a deal with Thompson according to our sources. Instead of going town to town with his peaceful mob and arsons, Thompson has agreed to only burn down pre-determined cities at a rate of one per month.
Minnesota Loonatic is attempting to get a hold of that list of cities. As soon as we do, we will provide it to Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg for mass distribution.
